VEIL Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
VEIL is operated by Stamatis Moshonas, Canada ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the VEIL website and iOS app.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google or Apple. We use these to let you sign in.
- Secret messages: hiding, revealing and encrypting happen on your device. Your secret messages, cover text and keywords never leave your device and are not stored on our servers.
- Session history (VEIL Pro): kept only on your device, and cleared when you close the app or browser tab. It is never sent to our servers.
- Purchases: if you buy VEIL Pro, Stripe processes the payment. We don't see or store your full card details. We keep a record of your plan so we can unlock Pro.
- Technical data: our hosting provider may keep standard logs, such as IP address and device type, for security and to keep the service running.
How we use it
To provide, secure and improve VEIL. We don't sell your data.
Advertising measurement (website only)
On our website, we use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether our ads lead to sign-ups, contact messages and purchases. Google may use cookies for this. The VEIL iOS app does not use Google Ads tracking.
Who we share it with
- Base44, which hosts VEIL and stores account data.
- Google or Apple, if you choose to sign in with them.
- Stripe, which processes VEIL Pro payments.
- Google Ads, for advertising measurement on our website.
We don't share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account details until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time under Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account data. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first so you aren't charged again.
Children
VEIL isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data. Email stam_fertis@hotmail.com.
