About VEIL

VEIL is a privacy app that lets you hide a secret message inside ordinary, everyday text. You write the message you want to keep private, then pick a harmless sentence to carry it, like a note about dinner plans. VEIL tucks your secret into that sentence using invisible characters, so the text looks completely normal to anyone who reads it. Only someone using VEIL can reveal what is hidden.

For extra protection, Pro users can lock a hidden message with a keyword. The message is then encrypted with strong, industry-standard AES-256 encryption right on your device, so even someone who finds the hidden text can't read it without the keyword. Your secrets and keywords are never sent to or stored on our servers.

VEIL is for anyone who values discretion: friends sharing surprises, people protecting personal notes, journalists, travellers, and anyone who simply wants a private channel that blends into everyday conversation. It works in most messaging and email apps, and it's available in English, French, Greek, Spanish, Bengali and Arabic.

VEIL is built by a small independent team that cares about privacy and simple, beautiful tools. Every new account starts with a free 14-day Pro trial, and you can keep Pro with a monthly, yearly or one-time lifetime plan.
